Rainbow Stack Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Rainbow Stack (“the app”, “we”) is a casual game. This policy explains what information is collected when you play and how it is used. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or contacts.
1. Information stored on your device
Your settings, unlocked skins and scores are saved on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Online rankings
To show how you compare with other players, the app sends your best score, a randomly generated player ID and your nickname (automatically generated, or one you chose) to our leaderboard server. Nicknames and scores are visible to other players. No name, email or device identifier is attached. To have your leaderboard entry removed, contact us with the nickname shown in the app.
2. Advertising
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process:
- Your device’s advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, if you allow it)
- Your IP address and approximate location based on it
- Device information such as model, operating system and language
- Ad interaction data (for example, whether an ad was shown or tapped) and diagnostics such as crash logs
This data is processed by Google under its own policies. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases
The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made, which is remembered on your device.
3. Your choices and consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google’s consent tool. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not store personal data ourselves, requests about ad data are best directed to Google, but you can always contact us and we will help.
4. Children
Rainbow Stack is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will work to have it removed.
5. Data sharing and security
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data with anyone other than the advertising provider described above. Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
